Here goes.......

So here is the update that I promised.

Owen and Brielle are both growing up way too fast!!! They are now 5 1/2 and 3 1/2 years old. Owen is starting kindergarten this fall and Brielle will be starting her first year of preschool. Speaking of preschool, Owen graduated this summer and I cried like a little baby. I cant believe how fast they are growing up! Owen played little league baseball for the first time this year and loved it! Im not sure who liked it more though, Owen or Daddy. They had a great time with it. Brielle was rather jealous. Her time is coming!

Forest has been busy with work, as always. He has been working hard on his latest racecar project too. Its coming along nicely and I am anxious for it to be race ready. He hasnt raced in two years now and I (shhh...dont tell him...) kinda mis it!

As for me, I am always super duper busy! I am now the coordinator (along with a great friend of mine) of a local MOPS (mothers of preschoolers) group. Its a lot of work, but a lot of fun. I have been slowly getting back into sewing again. It had been awhile since I had really done any of that. I have made some super cute things recently. I am once again the Vice President of our Mopar Car Club. My busy time for that is pretty much over. I am NOT planning on being re-elected next year. Anywho.......oh, and almost 2 weeks ago now I had to have surgery. This baby factory is no longer in business. I had a hysterectomy on July 14th after quite a few years of having issues. It got to the point that I couldn't handle it anymore and that was our last resort. I am healing up well and on my way to full recovery.

OH!!!! How could I forget????? Royal Family Kids Camp is in two weeks!!!!! I cannot wait. Forest is going as a counselor this year at camp too!!!! We are very excited.

It's Alive..........

I think it is time that I do this blog thing.....again. :) So, stay tuned for an update! Im beat tonight, so tomorrow I will be updating.

Funny story time!

Owen has started calling Forest and I by ours first names, rather than mom and dad. Its not a constant thing, but becoming more so as the days go by..

Friday morning he had been out in the shop working with Forest. He comes running in the house, throws his coat off, heads into the bathroom, but not before saying "im gonna stink, I need to turn the fan on!" After a few minutes of him being in there with the door tighly closed, he opens the door and says "Hey Lynne, you can come in now and clean my butt." Gee, thanks Owen.

Whew, what a week! It went by so fast. And the weekend? Where the heck did it go?!?!?!? We had a great weekend though. Owen caught his first fish! We went to the Sportsman's show here in town and they had a fishing pond set up. It was Owens very first time to catch a fish. He was so excited! He even made us bring it home and Forest cleaned it and I threw it on the grill and the stinkin kid ate it for dinner!!! Mr. Pickiest eater in the world ate trout for dinner. Okay, well it was just one bite, but he tried it. He said he liked it and that it was "delicious" but his face said other wise!

My "diet" and working out are going well. I'm not really on a diet, just trying to eat healthier and I exercise three times a week. I have lost about 8 pounds since November. Not too bad, eh?

Hump day

Not a whole lot to say this morning. The kids and I are going to go down and spend the day with my parents. They both have today off work...yay! I went to the gym monday night after my bible study. Yesterday wasnt too bad, but holy cow, today I am sooooo sore!!! I have yogo tonight, which makes me sore too, so tomorrow and friday should be lovely. Well, I am off to bathe the monkeys....

Yuck...its monday!

We had a nice weekend. Nothing too exciting though. Friday night we went to the Family dinner and movie night at church. We had some yummy spaghetti and then watched Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. It was really cute. Owen really enjoyed the movie. I have a headache this morning, actually this is the second day of it. Now my ear hurts too. Hoping its nothing though! I am off for bathtime!

Thank goodness its friday! What a week I just had. Non-stop activites (not complaining, it was great) kept me busy, an almost 2 year old kept me REALLY busy, an almost 4 year old kept me busy, a husband kept me busy. YIKES!!! And I see no letting up in the near future.

Wednesday I tried a day of panties with Brielle. She did awesome until I needed to shower that afternoon. I knew I should have put a diaper on her, but I didn't. Instead, I sat her on the potty for bout 15 minutes. Nothing. I take a quick, like 10 minute, shower. Get out not only to find that she PEED ON MY BED, but also that she had gotten an unopened-seal still under the lid-bottle of body wash of of my dresser, took the lid off, the seal off and DUMPED THE WHOLE THING ON MY CARPET!!!!! I was so ready to run away at that point!!!!

So, goodbye to this week and on to better days.......hopefully!

Oh and we are going to Family dinner and a movie night at Church this evening. Spaghetti dinner and then watching Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. Should be a blast!
