Surprise!
The kids and I had a little surprise party for Forest tonight. It worked out well because my brother ended up calling and him and my dad came over for dinner also! We discovered though that Owen is scared of silly string. He did not like it one bit when I started spraying Forest with it. It was way too funny!!!!! We had a good time. Dinner was good and the cake was even better! Here are a few pictures of the festivities!
Sunshine & Birthdays!
The sun is out a shinning beautifully this morning, woohoo! The entire weekend was rainy and windy and icky. Its supposed to be around 70 degrees today and so far, it gorgeous. Its about freaking time! I have two hanging pots ont eh front of my house and the are blooming and looking beautiful. I was worried about them for awhile because they had to endure some pretty nasty weather.
Today is Forest's birthday. He is now 26 years old. Its about time to break out the wheel chair...haha! We are going to have his favorite dinner and this afternoon Owen and I are going to make him a yellow cake, with chocolate frosting...his favorite!
Brielle had a rough night lastnight. She has a pretty stuffy nose and it could be one of three things I am thinkig. #1 she could be teething. She always gets a stuffy nose when she gets teeth. #2 Allergies, poor thing is on precription Zyrtec already at one year old. I havent given it to her in a couple of weeks, so back to that we go! #3 She may actually be getting sick, I sure hope not though!
My grandpa is scheduled for his surgery today at 10am. Please keep himm in your thoughts and prayers. They are much appreciated.
Off I go to make a cake! I will post birthday pictures tomorrow!!

I think I might lose my mind!!! Does anyone want a 3 year old? I have one that I am offering free to a good home! This kid is driving me batty. He listens to what you tell him about 14% of the time. He yells and screams and throws terrible fits. He woke up in a lovely mood this morning. Is it nap time yet? Grrrr!!!
Brielle is a sweetheart as usual today. I think she might be working on some teeth. She has a bit of a runny nose and is just not quite herself. Its been awhile since she has gotten a tooth in, so I suppose its about that time.
We are getting ready to head out to church here in a few minutes. The kids always have a good time in sunday school. Maybe that will help Owen's mood. Good grief, something has to!
Sundays are always busy for us. We have church at 11am, come home, have lunch, get the kids down for a nap, theywake up and I start of dinner, we eat, and then at 5:30 we have our bible study group to go to. I always look forward to it throughout the week. Its nice to have some adult interaction. And the kids get to play with all the other kids.
Boring for today, huh? Not much going on. Just the usual. OH, but tomorrow is Forest's birthday. He will be the big two-six!!!
And how could I forget this! Owen is just too funny. His newest thing now is that he says "holy cow!" it completely cracks me up. His is watching TV right now with Daddy and they are watching Gone in 60 seconds. When they jumped the car, Owen goes "Holy cow!" Its just too funny. He also tells me the other day while eating a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch, "Dang mom, this is good!" I think I about wet my pants.

Sucky Saturday
I hate the rain!!!!! It was gorgeous yesterday. Sunny, no wind, around 70 degree. PERFECT! Now, today, what do we wake up to? Yep, RAIN...UGH! I washed my stinkin car yesterday too.
Oh well, on to better things. Let see....Brielle is walking more and more everyday. Its about stinkin time being that she is 14 months old already. Lazy bones. Although they do say that the longer a baby crawls, the smarter they will be. I walked at 9 months, maybe that explains a few things...hehe. 
Owen was given a bike from a family in the bible study group we belong too. They son had outgrown it, so they passed it down to Owen. He is on absolute love with it. If only we could get him to figure out how to ride it. He just doesnt get it yet. Maybe by next summer he will have the hang of it!!!
So the plan for today is to putt around the house this morning. I need to make it to the bank of the post office at some point before they close this afternoon. And then this evening we get to go shopping with someone elses money. YAY! Forest is the VP of the car club we belong too and every year the club puts on a big Mopar car show here in the Tri-Cities. Well, the VP has full responsibility of organizing the car show. With the economy the way it is, even though we sent out 90 donation letters, we have gotten barely anything for raffles gifts donated to us. So, the club gave us an allowance of $700 to get some good raffles gifts with. Costco, here we come!
On to a more serious matter, my grandpa Pat is in the hospital in Portland. He is having open heart surgery on Monday. They are doing a double bypass. Please, please, please keep him in your prayers! I am serious, it would mean the world to me to know that I have people praying and keeping him in their thoughts. I will update how everything goes as soon as I know.

The first day of May..and its friday..woohoo!
Today is gorgeous outside!!! It's bright and sunny, and best of all, NO WIND! Forest got home yesterday evening and the kids were very happy to see him after he had been gone for three days. I got my camera yesterday, and let me tell you, I LOVE IT! It takes beautiful pictures. I will be posting some later today, I promise!!! I am having way too much fun with it.
Not much going on this weekend. I think it will be a lazy weekend at home. I am ready for one of those. It seems like we always have somewhere to go or something we HAVE to do on the weekends. Its nice to have a bit of a break.
Oh, and little Miss Princess-and-she-knows-it Brielle is walking. She is getting around pretty good. She still crawls some, but she is walking more and more everyday. She is just the cutest little tiny thing. Well, off for now. I will be back later with pictures.
