Hump Day

The kids are both jacked up and excited that grandpa is here! Even Brielle is loving it. She is just too funny. Owen on the other hand.....his attitude has me to the point where I don't even like being around him, as bad as that may sound.

We bought a new truck lastnight. Well, not brand new, but new to us. Its a 2004 Dodge Ram diesel. It has four doors, which is SO nice compared to our old one. We needed a new one because of towing our car trailer. Our old truck wasn't capable of safely towing. The new one will be much better.

I am going down to Hermiston today to see my friend Shelby and her brand new baby boy, Parker. I can't wait to get my hands on him!!! He is an absolute DOLL!!!

The wind, ugh!!!

I swear, the weather is awesome, sunny skies, COULD be warm, but NO, the wind thinks it has to blow 900 miles per hour. UUUUGGHHHH!!!!!!!I am so sick of the wind. Its about to make me go crazy.

Anyway, on to better things. I talked to mom lastnight and it looks like grandpa will finally get to go home today! He has had a few minor set backs that made it so he wasnt able to go home on time, but its finally looking good for him, Praise the Lord!

Brielle did pretty stinkin good lasnitght with no binky. Hopefully today goes even better. What a big girl seh is now. They are growing up WAY too fast.

Speaking of growing up, Owen is starting pre-school this fall. I cannot believe my baby is ready to start school. Where have the last 3 years gone?!?!?! Seriously! Oh, and we are taking any and all donation that you may want to send to help with his tuition...hahaha....okay, so I am a little serious. It costs good money for a good school.

Paul (Forests dad) will be here this afternoon and then Sheryl ( forests mom) will be here tomorrow evening. They are coming for the carshow this weekend. They are bringing Pauls charger and the new Challenger also.

What can I say? It's monday.

I have been crazy busy this morning getting caught back up on house work from the weekend. We had a very busy, but very nice weekend. I got the lawn mowed this morning while Brielle was napping. Speaking of Brielle napping, we are getting rid of the binky. She pretty much only uses it when she sleeps, but its time for it to go bye bye. Her morning nap today was teh first attempt without it. She did surprisingly well. She only screamed bloody murder for about 5 minutes. After the scream fest I went back in her room adn turned on her CD player and played some lullabies for her. I just played with her hair and rubbed her head and face for a few m inutes and she calmed down and was just about asleep. I was able to leave the room without her freaking out, just to catch Owen playing with the computer. UGH! I sent him to his room and of course he is screaming the whole way and I swear stoppped at Brielles door and screamed louder. It woke her up and she had another melt down, but we got through it and she was able to take a very good nap. Its about time for nap number two now, so hopefully I have good luck with time around.

Happy Mother's Day

Happy mother's day to all the mommy's out there! I am having a great day. Brielle slept in til 8am today!!! That was the best gift ever..haha! We went out for a nice breakfast and then hit the mall. We came home with a few things, but they were all for Forest. I don't mind though. I like shopping for him just as much as I like shopping for myself. Shoot, I just like shopping no matter who its for! Owen is napping right now, so I went grocery shopping and got that chore out of the way for the week. When he wakes up we are heading to Forest's office to pick up some car parts that he has been working on for his dad. Paul will be here on tuesday with one of his cars (the Charger) and him and Forest are going to work on it at the end of the week. Forest took thursday and friday off of work to fix Pauls car and to get ready for the carshow on Saturday. We still have lots of work to do for that, but its coming together nicely. I will be relieved when its all said and done though. Anyhow, like I said above, happy mothers day to all the moms!

Fantastic Friday

Lastnight was awesome!!! Forest is the man, he got first place at the races. It was very exciting and I can't wait for next time. This was actually the first points race, so what a great way to start off the year! I am so proud of him.

This morning we are going to go down to Hermiston and pick up Brielle from Aunt Stephanies. I just talked to Steph on the phone and she said Brielle did awesome yesterday. What a big girl. When we got home lastnight at 2am, I was putting Owen's jammies on him and he got teary eyed and started to cry a little, so I asked him what was wrong and he was so chocked up he could barely get it out, but he said "I miss Brielle." It was the sweetest thing. I told him that we would be going to get her in the morning and he was okay with that. Poor little guy was so worred about her. He asked about her all evening at the races too.

Well, off I go to get ready and to get my sweet little sugar pie!

Finally Friday!

It's 8am and I am up. Im not too happy about it, but oh well. Forest had me up til midnight working on the racecar with him! I really did enjoy it though. It's not very often we get to do things like that together anymore since we have two little helpers.

Tonight is the first points racce at the drap strip. Brielle is going to be staying with her Aunt Stephanie so I have to take her down there to her this afternoon and then as soon as I get back we are headed for yakima to the races. I will make sure to get lots of good pictures.

Almost Friday!

I am so ready for the weekend, even though its going to be busy! Tomorrow evening we are heading to Yakima to go drag racing. Its the first points race of the season. It should be alot of fun. Brielle is staying with her Auntie (Forest's sister) so it will be alot easier and both her and I. She is a bit of a pain to take care of at the track still. Owen on the other hand, LOVES IT! That kid is a gear head already.

So for those that watch American Idol, I was so dissappointed that Alison went home! It soooooo should have been Kris! I can't stand the weird thing he does with his mouth, drives me bonkers to watch him. Ayhow......
